BUTT LIFT WITH PDO THREADS

PDO threads can be used to lift your buttocks! To enhance the lift, we can add more threads over more sessions...

The PDO threads are inserted after numbing is applied to the area.

The treatment usually lasts 45 minutes to 1.5 hours and has minimal side effects such as mild bruising and swelling. The PDO Thread Lift is achieved by the injector gently placing, tightening, and using the threads to lift the buttocks. The PDO Threads will dissolve over time, and collagen will build up to replace them!

Our clients have said that they feel comfortable and at ease when they visit us and love our PDO Thread treatments, as well as our cellulite treatments and buttocks fillers. Come in and see our Injector who will help you create a plan to both anti-age and rejuvenate the buttocks.

What are PDO threads?

PDO (polydiaxone) threads are a dissolvable suture material made of protein. They are used to lift loose tissue in the face and body. It is one of the most effective non-surgical ways to lift the buttock tissue.

How do they work to lift the buttocks?

The threads are preloaded on a blunt tip, a hollow cannula inserted under the skin. The threads have tiny barbs on them that grasp the tissue and reposition the skin. The thread is tightened, and the hollow blunt cannula is removed without leaving any scar! Usually, 4-6 threads per buttock are used.

How long do they last?

The threads will fully dissolve within 6-9 months, and your body will produce its own collagen where the thread was, which will secure the lift and give lasting results.

How much does it cost?

£550 per 10 threads with a minimum of 5 threads per side. Each person will need a different amount of threads, depending on their anatomy.

What are the side effects and downtime?

The average recovery time after a PDO thread lift procedure is 24 hours of rest followed by light activity.

Two to three weeks following the procedure strenuous activities may be restarted. to moderate swelling, bruising, and tenderness is to be expected. The pain can usually be managed with Paracetomol. We recommend avoiding strenuous activity for two weeks and use ice and Arnica as needed to help decrease inflammation.

There may be a slight stinging sensation for a few weeks after the treatment but this will subside over time.

Aftercare:

  • Do not apply an excessive amount of pressure to the treated area.

  • Do not remove the waterproof plasters for at least 3 days

  • Do not use the bath, only shower for the first 3 days

  • Keep the area clean

  • Keep your blood pressure within a normal range, avoid excessive heat exposure such as sunbeds or saunas

  • Any redness, extreme swelling, dizziness etc should be reported to us as soon as possible

  • Avoid drinking alcohol for the first two weeks after your thread lift for a couple of reasons. First, alcohol is a diuretic, meaning it will flush out an excessive amount of water and essential nutrients that are vital for your skin health. Second, alcohol consumption increases your blood pressure significantly
