What is ENDOLIFT?

Endolift Laser, which is FDA-approved, is a laser technology for contouring the face & body without surgery. Additionally, it’s recommended for scars, defining the chin line, tightening the jaw and neck area, as well as the body, and it is also suitable for eye bags. Endolift is a treatment that is ideal for ages above the 40s, but it has no age limit as long as the patient is an adult. Endolift can be done without the need for complex surgical methods. It stimulates collagen production by boosting the temperature beneath the skin in the treated area.

How it Works

Enldolift is non a surgical procedure and is minimum invasive. The practitioner uses a microfiber tip that has hair thickness, and is directing it under the skin to the sagging area. Endolift is a combined diode laser application that merges skin rejuvenation and facial/body contouring. There is low downtime as there are no traces after the treatment. After the Endolift procedures, the results reach an evident level in only minutes. This treatment, which does not require surgery and anaesthesia. It’s much easier than regular invasive treatments. The pain level is minimum, but this depends on the individual pain threshold.

During the treatment, tiny single-use micro-optical fibres, thinner than a hair, are inserted under the top layer of skin, into the superficial hypodermis.  The laser energy is transmitted via the fibres into the skin, to target water and fat within the skin.   The laser energy triggers a number of processes within the skin:

  • The skin contracts in response to the laser energy giving immediately visible appearance of firmer and tighter skin.  This effect will diminish over time, but the results of the following effects will develop further after treatment.

  • The selective heat from the laser causes pockets of fat within the skin to melt and spill out from the microscopic fibre entry points in the treatment area.  It also causes a contraction of the cell network which holds the fat together.

  • The laser energy heats the surrounding tissue to encourage new collagen and elastin production which continues for 9 - 12 months after treatment, with visible results being perceived within 4-8 weeks.  The treatment rejuvenates the skin with long lasting results.

Is it Permanent?

Endolift results are expected to last 2-3 years. Though, due to the ageing process, the laxity in the deep skin will continue to build after this time. Many lifestyle factors will play an essential part after treatment; a healthy diet, regular exercise, avoiding alcohol consumption, and smoking will decrease the ageing process.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Yes, Endolift is suitable for all skin types and ages. Though, those with increased sagging of the skin may need surgery to see noticeable results. Endolift is not advised on pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Aftercare

Endolift is a minimally invasive treatment designed to tighten and rejuvenate the skin. Compared to traditional lifting treatments such as facelift surgery or thread lifts, Endolift has very few side effects and requires little recovery time. But like any aesthetic procedure, you may experience some temporary side effects during recovery. Side effects could include:

  • Redness, swelling, and discomfort: These are common in the first few days post-treatment, typically lasting between 3-5 days.

  • Bruising: Bruising may develop within 72 hours and can last up to 14 days. Any bruising or redness can usually be concealed easily with makeup.

  • Numbness or altered sensation: It’s normal to experience temporary numbness or altered sensation in the treated area. Sensation usually returns within 12 hours but may take up to 12 weeks to completely normalise.

  •

Endolift aftercare plan

To ensure optimal healing and results, it’s important to follow the aftercare instructions closely:

  • Return to normal activities: Most patients can return to their regular routines immediately following the procedure, but some activities should be avoided (see below).

  • Treat swelling: If experiencing swelling and/or redness, you could consider taking an antihistamine and using a cool compress. It’s also important to stay hydrated, and some people may consider a lymphatic massage to help reduce swelling and speed up recovery. If swelling persists or is causing concern, do not hesitate to get in touch with the us.

  • Use SPF: You should use a broad-spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen for at least one week post-treatment to protect the area from UV rays while the skin is healing and swelling is subsiding. We recommend wearing SPF daily.

  • Attend your follow-up appointment: We highly recommend scheduling a review appointment one month and three months after your procedure to assess your progress and ensure you are healing well. If you have any concerns before this, you can contact the us at any time.

To be avoided post Endolift:

To ensure optimal recovery and results, we recommend avoiding the following:

  • Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup on or around the treated area for 24 hours. This is to avoid irritation and the chance of infection.

  • Exercise: You should avoid vigorous physical activity for 48 hours following treatment as this may increase swelling.

  • Heat treatments: Avoid saunas, steam rooms, or sunbeds for 1 week or until any swelling subsides.

  • Sun exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight for 1 week or until swelling subsides. Always use SPF 50 when outdoors.

  • Acid-based cleansers: Refrain from using acid-based skincare products, such as those containing AHAs or BHAs, for 3 days after treatment.

  • Retinol or Vitamin A creams: Do not use topical retinol or Vitamin A creams for at least 1 week after treatment.

  • Facial treatments and chemical peels: Refrain from having any facial treatments or chemical peels for 2 weeks following your Endolift treatment.
